Kind of cheesy, yeah, (in retrospect, though), but I love writing and reading these kind of stories: a simple twist on one of those real-life clichés.
The tragedy-of-boy-loves-girl is the bane of the modern world, really; they haunt me, not just through chain e-mails, but even phone messages. I have found blessed release at last.
I like the anonymity; normally, the no-name scenario crops up in just way too many awful stories, but here it served to emphasise a point. For a guy who struggles desperately to come up with something to say to her, his ultimate First Words were all the more cuter for not being the witty banter he'd wish it was.
[Normally, I AM the worst type of shadow-reader, but I went on a spree and read as much of your stuff as I could, and it's cool to find another person who resolves to review every story they've read, especially to stop acting like such a hypocrite.]

Sorry for not reviewing earlier, but the story was great! I felt bad for the poor fellow just sitting there jumping to the comclusion of her getting married. Loved the descriptions and ending. Thanks for writing it!

That's a cute little story. You didn't go into much depth with the characters; you didn't need to. We understood; this girl was nowhere near perfect, the the boy fell in love and didn't know what to do. Nerve-wracking ending. Awesome!
