17the mouse that roared
I really like this one. In spite of my general, prejudiced dislike of the football and cheerleading stereotype, I can actually find some humanity in them, which is good. :) Nice rhythm. I like the way that you have all the specific memories, it makes the song very realistic. I like how we can't be in love changes to maybe we'll realize. Also, on the plot front-wouldn't the boy/girl war hatred have stopped much earlier? And this is just an idea, but maybe you could have her cheering louder than usual or something-bring the relationship of the game into it too. But great job all around. I particularly liked this line:
"You pull of your helmet
And eyes meet mine
My legs get weak
You've stopped all time"
And OK, this one too:
"Hate overcome by love"
