Being kicked out must be very hurtful for Iska, but I think in the long run it'll be good for him. I'm also glad that he's not moving in with Ramyar because a) I don't think Ramyar wants him to and b) it would be jumping the gun.
Did Iska have to pay rent at his parent's house? If not, were did all of his money go?

WOOT! ANOTHER CHAPTER! Poor Iska, but it is to be expected. Just when things are good, you bring on reality and it hits hard...aw, oh well. Well, even though Iska was thrown out on his ass with only a bed and clothes, he'll make it through right? Will Ramyar be there to be his knight in shining armor...or no armor? Will the young hero be able to survive? Will I stop giving you stupid reviews? Okay, the answer to the last one is no, but not the point. The point is I love you and love this story and cannot wait until the next chapter! DUN DUN DUN!

I'll be honest and say the only reason I started reading this story was because I was hoping that brett and michael would get back together. I was heartbroken when they broke up. This is a really nice work though, i love your series :)

That's something so frequent but I could never understand. Not loving our own kids? It seems so strange, unreal. The way you're writing.. It's not like it's an imaginar story but the translation in words of something you've been a witness to. And I love it.
I wish you all the best but foremost a lot of inspiration :)

I see this nurse/doctor thing getting out of hand. If Ramyar is someone who doesn't like being proved wrong...eh. I don't know, I don't really see a future for this couple. But hey, who knows. (Well obviously you.) Really hating Michael and Mohammed, urgh Mikey used to know better than this. A married man? With kids. He just left Brett because of complications with kids! I think Ramyar is allowing Iska to lose some of his self-consciousness, which is good. He seemed pretty sure of himself in bed at least.

Why does it seem like Ramyar and Iska are going to have a serious problem with each other pretty soon, probably with moving in with each other. I keep waiting for Iska to come out to his family, how could his parents not realize when he spends entire nights out of the house? doing what?
Oh Mike! What do I say about him? For me no one can be a suitable partner for Brett and Mike other than each other. But why is Mike being an idiot, a married man with children has another affair with a man with a child of his own. I expect this kind of thing from Will not a 30 yr. old man.

YAYZ! yay yay yay! ^^ not only are ramyar and iska a happy little couple, but THEY HAD A GREAT LITLE SEX SCENE! So my fan-girl side is happy and content for now, and so is my sex-fiend. Not the point, the point is that this chapter was great and I'm happy to see iska and ramyar together again, and that their working out this whole fatherhood thing. I can only wonder at what surprises you have in store for them! o.o...CONTINUE ON WITH THE GREAT WRITING!

Okay, I think I've made my pointless opinion on Ramyar clear, but I just have to say that I don't see what Iska sees in him. I mean sure he has a good job and he doesn't beat him, but what else is there? I'm sorry; I should probably stop leaving reviews where I just complain about one of the characters so I'll try that next chapter. ;)

I'm glad things worked out for Iska and Ramyar. :) Just wondering how long it can last x). Things might be running /too/ smoothly. Something is going to come along and cause another problem, I know it x). Probably the twins.
It seems that Mike and Brett are going to settle though :(. The more I think about it, they would still be okay if it weren't for Ben. x(. Oh well, can't turn back time. It just seems that someone's going to end up settling and not ending up in a bad relationship, but even so, still not being as happy as they could. Happens far too often.
But I suppose it's not so bad.
I really enjoy this new story so far. It's as realistic and wonderful as the others. Being so realistic, it just goes to show how unbelievable even real life can be with all it's twists, turns and 'wtf?' moments x).

I'm happy that things went so well in this chapter because it's in correlation with what's going on in my life. Not the big happy moment but a hundred of happy moments put together. And sometimes between them, hard and difficult ones. I like Iska even if I haven't a lot of chances to meet a guy like him in reality. He reminds me that appearance is not the most important. :)

I don't see a bright future for these two. If Iska can't even call Ramyar out on the 'I must have drunk a lot... Why else would I be accepting – not even accepting, but begging for a lift home from a Lebanese?' comment, then I think too many issues will go unresolved. Iska needs to grow a backbone... and some self-esteem.
Love the story so far! My only critique is that you seem to be repeating the same character under different circumstances sometimes. Will and Iska's narratives seem too similar in my opinion. There's not much difference in their observations. Basically it seems like they see through the same eyes, even if Will has had more violent outbursts and behaves differently. Even if there are some small differences in their POVs, there should be very NOTICEABLE differences since these 2 characters come from COMPLETELY different backgrounds. They have very similar biases and personalities (internally at least). As a reader, this is just my general impression. Still, I very much like your work, and if I read Iska as a stand alone I wouldn't notice it. I just think you could grow more as a writer by playing with POVs and really exploiting the way the first person POV allows you to deepen the characterization of the MC. Just a thought.

Very interesting chapter. I'm glad to see Ramyar so adamant about children, but will his narrow views cause aa gaping rift between him and Iska? What will the couple do in the face of such adversity? Ohs nos. Well, as the plot continues, it becomes more interesting and I would love to see how Iska thinks this over. I hope he doesn't completely break it off with Ramyar, but who knows except for you?
