In your description, you say the child is paralyzed. Paralysis does not cause loss of consciousness, I'm sure you meant the child is in a coma.
This honestly detracted much from my potential enjoyment of the song, because I'm extremely confused.

A very interesting piece again, a touchy theme I know and captured so very well from the other side of normal. (If that made sense).
Like the chorus so much I could almost hear the tune.
Touched me.
Now you know that poetry's my bag in life, I don't read much other than that on here, but this I make an exception. Yes, songs can be poetic, it has many elements here, but this is a smooth deliverance of its story and packs a punch at the end too. I can see that child, I can feel the Mothers pain through the child.
