That was really cute. I like how you compared food with personalities. The story really captured my attention. With stories as long as yours I usually skip a few paragraphs, but yours was really good. It was entertaining and I really liked it. Great job!

Aw, that was so cute! I loved it! It was clever, too - I never would have been able to come up with all that psychoanalysis jazz. The candy comparisons were pure genius. Well done!

I really like the way you've developed this story - both the experiment itself and the characters within it. I'll admit that being a Brit some of the sweet references were lost on me, but I know enough about American candy to get the jist of it. Good job. :-)

I really like this story. Loved how Megan's character developed. She realized she shouldn't be so judgmental. And I also loved Carter. He was awesome. =)
Now I totally want to try out the Misener Experiment, LOL. I think I'd compare myself to...one of those ice cream sandwiches? IDK...Still gotta think about that one...

Just for the record, kugel can also be made with noodles and be sweet or savory, and can also be made with potatoes, usually with lots of onion. In my opinion, that is the best kind... but, really, neither are desserts, even sweet noodle kugel... just for the record.
Cute story, though.

wow. your characters actually evolved and not just the main characters either. all in a one shot! i'm impressed. I liked that change of opinion in respect to Laurie.
You're story was definitely tootsie roll material with the different layers and totally filled me up with happy gooey thoughts at the end. (is that what tootsie rolls are? we actually don't have them in Australia). liked it!

My goodness, you've been posting a lot of stories. Hey, not that I'm complaining, you're definitely one of my favorite authors on here. Yup. Is this a rewrite of an older story of yours? It sure seems awfully familiar...hehe. Out of curiosity, did you ever have to do an experiment like this? I have a nasty habit of thinking of people as animals, not because of how they act but because of how they look. At my old school there was a program assistant who I swear looked exactly like a sheep and because I was like...8, I always felt the need to "Baa" at her. Of course I didn't, but...yeah. Eheh, this story is just so cute and adorable...Yay.

You posted this before, haven't you? Well, it was good the first time I read it when you posted it, and it's tons better now even if I am mostly unaware of the changes, etc you probably did to it.

How cute is this? This has to be my favorite story of yours, even though it's so short. It was, as they say, short and sweet :)
I loved the analogies - especially the one about muffins. I found that comment particularly cute: "Carter’s not a muffin because muffin’s fall apart when you mess with them and spread their problems everywhere." Loved it!
I pictured Carter to be a ferrero rocher, though... lots of layers, interesting texture, and unbelievably sweet though not in a sickening way.
Great, I have a feeling I'll be affiliating people with junk food, too :O
