Ignore the hag's anonymous review (which by the way ignores that person in love is not the victim as you clearly stated). This is a fun piece of fiction that you have shared for free (thanks!). People like it are miserable in their own lives; it obviously has no friendship. Pity it, but don't stop writing.
I think this is a well done cliffhanger. It leaves you on the edge but does not just end things without some satisfaction.

This was a terrific chapter and I was so happy to see Tristan and Jessica again. But it's not looking good for Damien is it? But it's looking up for Casey isn't it, what an unexpected twist you have left us with.

It must have been a while since you've updated because I can't remember Adrian AT ALL. I'll have to go reread the chapters I guess. Good update! Made me laugh a lot. I'm SO glad you brought Tristan back because damn I love him.

Hi Sarah, well I have finally caught up to the latest chapter and I have to say that you are definitely the "QUEEN of Cliffhangers" and that I love this story. Hi Sarah, I just started this story and so far I like the way you are developing the plot and its characters. And on a personal note: I find it very barbaric against women both human and vampire and think it's time for the king to establish some laws on civility and order for the six billion people living on the planet. (So please bring out the guillotine and kill off all the sicko-sadistic vampires that abuse, mistreat and rape their blood supply). And now that I have vented, I'm onto the next chapter so I can find out what's going to happen to Casey. So thanks again for being such a great creative writer and always giving your readers such wonderful stories even with your limited time. - Shelley

There are a lot of commas being missed before ending speech marks. A minor thing really, but repeated enough, and I notice it. Also sometimes, a period is applied, and the next sentence doesn't begin with a capital letter.

Your attention to detail is impressive. I was keeping a tally in my head. 2010...right. Born in 1993...right. Sixteen...okay. Few months to go till her 17th. I quickly surmised the only possible timeline this story could take place is, if it was set in January 2010. And lo and behold - mid-week January was mentioned! :D
I really enjoyed this first chapter.
Vampires have always taken a backseat to my preference for werewolves, but if I sit down and think about it, I've read a lot of vampire-related books and watched a lot of vampire-related media.
Luke was so rough, and Jerrick was an interesting mix of soft and rough. I'm trying to flesh out the female lead in my brain. She's "docile" but I have a feeling she's really smart and likes plotting. Otherwise I'd be disappointed :P
