I liked it. I feel your sentiments for a happy ending, but I'm more selfish than most ... I oppose the idea of adopting only because it means that Seth and Alex aren't alone to have sexy escapades anymore. .

So when they say 'Love just is," I suppose they are right. You can't help who you love, because when you feel that irresistible desire emanating toward you from someone, it's well, irresistible! I'm glad you portrayed they characters this way.

A great story! I have to say I was impressed by the way Seth handled his attraction to a guy... I expected him to be much more resistant to the idea of dating another man. I really enjoyed the way Alex kept warning him off at first and giving him opportunities to avoid spending time with him.
I guess I can’t blame Alex for trying to reconcile with his parents but his naivety was a bit annoying at times. What did he expect after they’d kicked him out? That his father would suddenly accept him the way he was?
Alex’s father was a real bastard and I have to say I found it a bit strange that he gave up and left even though Seth had survived the attack.

It would make more sense if you said but instead of and. I know I'm nitpicking, but that's what you wanted, isn't it? That's what us fellow writers are for, right?
Anyway, ah, Seth is so cute and confused. I have nothing constructive to say about characterization because I love these characters and I'm not so good at criticizing something I'm not use to. By the time I get to your most recent story I'll be an expert on MxM. :p

"Seth was comfortable with his sexuality." Obviously he's not.
I feel so bad for Alex. I feel like I can connect with him. He's such a sweet and sensitive character. I also feel bad for Seth. Poor guys just trying to fit in, he's doing nothing wrong, and he's been thrown into this world of bigotry. All that, plus his sexuality has now been thrown into question (even if he won't admit it). Poor guys. :(

So as I already told you, I've never read a MxM before. I guess I'm losing my MxM virginity to you. I like how you set this up, making Seth obviously into guys and how Alex is so girl, obviously a girl stuck in a boys body.
I liked how you put Seth's past as a loner in there so he can relate to Seth. I see the foundations of a relationship. :)

I loved this story! I just wish you would have extended the ending some more to include more information about their adult married life, Seth's mom and brother. I would have loved to have seen more of their interactions with their daughter as well.
It was a great story, I just felt that it was wrapped up too quickly with too many loose ends.
