This seemed really simple, which is really where it's beauty lies, I think. There wasn't any of that fancy stuff to clutter it up; there was just the meaning, and I loved that.
I liked the rhyme scheme, too, actually. It worked, and you didn't sacrifice any meaning to make it work. It wasn't random or anything. All in all, a pretty good set of lyrics. Nicely done!
