8/13/2008 c1 11the ignorance of it all
Cute, well-written and hilariously funny. The end was good, but I was expecting her mutated werewolf/vampire parent to come in and yell at her for being so rude, or that the narrator would eventually devise an evil scheme to kidnap her and question her about her bad mood. Something to consider if you ever want something to do. ^-^

My favourite lines would have to be;;

- "Once I became convinced that she must have been the offspring of some terrible monster you hear about as a kid."

- "I thought that maybe she really wasn’t unhappy—that her face had somehow gotten stuck that way, some freak accident from years past. Like when my parents threatened me when made faces at them as a child,'You just watch, one day your face will stay that way.'"

I was what I think is a minor mistake, it could be intentional. It doesn't sound all that bad.. just... Oh whatever.

- "...believing that it would either wear her down into some sort of decency toward me or just make her visit as miserable as she made it for me." Do you mean "...make her visit as miserable for her as she made it for me?"

I like it. It's a nice, heartwarming story. I'm sure there are many readers who have to deal with a "Gladys" (or two) at work.
