I liked the emphasis on the sadness of not being able to create closure on a relationship (cuz you couldn't say goodbye). Oh and regarding your profile, I've read the first Twilight book but thought Edward was a hot but pretty boring vampire. Read L J Smith's Nightworld series (if you haven't already)! There are uber-hot vampires in that series! -from a fellow ozzie : )

It seemed a bit emotionless to me. Like someone was using monotone. I felt nothing when I read it. Maybe try putting more emotion behind it and avoid cliches. Easier said then done, of course, and I still struggle with that at times. (:
