I'm not quite sure what to say. This is so well written. So well composed. Not a sentence or word too much. You have a big talent!
It's intriguing, though very unsettling, how the main guy twists things in his head to make his actions seem legitimate, necessary.

I really don't get most of it. I found Ye Shall Be As Gods very hard to understand, by this I don't mean that the whole this was hard to understand, I mean that the style of writing you used was hard to understand. I can see where you are going with style because it reminds me of a mix between the show Samurai Jack and the movie Spirited Away. I don't know how Ye Shall Be As Gods came into the story at all, that may be my point of view but I practically don't get the whole story. Good luck with this one.

"ye shall be as gods" is one of my favorite lines, which is what drew me to this. I'm not christian, but there's something so enigmatic about it. something powerful. it's the crux of the story of adam and eve.
I love how you show his thought process, rambling and... mathematic. or something.
[He enjoyed language: poetry, rhyming, especially breaking down words. He turned language into math, speech into numbers and patterns. Everything was able to be expressed as a number, numbers could be subtracted or erased. He would clear language of emotion like a teacher clears a chalkboard.]
the sad thing is that I do the first part. I break down things into numbers and count numbers and square them and divide them and all that crazy stuff. but I'm not really that crazy. I mean, everyone has their own thing, right? hah. anyway, the interesting part is where you go with it. the last sentence I pasted up there is amazing.
