Have been completely hooked by this story since I started reading it! Absolutely loved William (and no he was not too much of a pushover, he was perfect ^^) and Marianne is a great heroine, she's got enough minor flaws to make her easy to relate to, without making you want her out of the story in the first few chapters, and she's definitely not the typical damsel in distress. If you do end up doing a sequel featuring Blaise I for one can't wait to read it!

The summary sounds interesting! Then I begin to read and the first half is rather boring. Actually William Gray's point of view is rather boring. I don't feel drawn in. When I get to Marianne's point of view in this chapter though my interest is piqued again.
Although repeating what I've just read in her point of view makes me want to skip it because I already know what's happened. I find myself thinking it's getting painful to continue reading because I just want it to get to the point, get to what's happening, not explaining what's happening but instead 'experiencing' what's happening.
Perhaps flipping point of view would work if you didn't repeat what had just happened in the other person's point of view because we already know what's happened and want to see what happens next, not what the other character was thinking when everything was happening! Man that felt like a tongue twister to write haha. I hope you know what I mean though!
Will review the next chapter to see if I've changed my mind!

This story is really amazing. I love how independent Marianne is. I think William is super hot, of course. I also like the little intrigue that you add (Blaise's "heritage") and how Marianne resolves it. Great story! Now I'm off to check out if you have anything more! :D

Awe :). This was a cute story. I really enjoyed it! I think it was pretty well-rounded as well. The love scene's were just enough, and it had a little bit of adventure in it. While this isn't my absolute favorite story on this website, I still enjoyed reading it.

I read this in one go today, it is filled with toe-curling moments. The characters are great, I usually find extremely feisty women in fiction annoying, but Marianne was amazing, it had a slight 'Taming of the Shrew' feel to it, except for it was better (because it's not so sexist). I did find the beginning really funny, and I loved the way you managed to keep the dialogue consistent throughout the story. There is one thing which innitially put me off, it was the blurb, for some reason I avoided reading this because of it. Thank you.

You know, this work is as good as the work of Lisa Kleypas! If you have not heard of her, she is my utmost favorite romance author. This story is great, not to mention your previous works. They might not have been her style, but they were great, nonetheless.
