I must say, I really like the way you describe everything so thoroughly. You're a really great writer, but to be honest, I don't like the poem.
You make it very appealing! It's just that I come from a small town in the middle of nowhere and personally, I'm sick of it. I think I caught this just a bit too late. A few years ago I could have related to trying to hold on to the country simplicity, but now I'm eager to let it go.
Personal opinions aside, you wrote it really well (:
