an interesting take on the post-apocalyptic story. mostly, they're inherently anti-war, but drown out the message with the various entertaining aspects. you really focus on the sort of lack of future aspect of the whole situation, and I think it's pretty unique the way you highlight the changes that occur in the character.

This is a really well written and constructed story that I truly enjoyed reading. I would have liked to have seen more provocation from the man before she killed him and a little more regret on her part (if only for a moment). Especially as it’s the first time she has killed anyone, I assume. Then again maybe that’s just not they way she is. Keep writing.

This was really good as a short story, but the ending seemed a bit. . . off. Anyway, I enjoyed every bit of it. :)
