No! It can't be your last shot! That was really good! :) Better than when I read it before hand (try saying that five times fast). Like what the person below said, you are gifted! And you know what I've noticed? Your best work has been inspired through real-life ordeals, circumstances, and emotions. Maybe you should shoot more for those.

I really enjoyed reading this poem. The terseness and simplicity of this poem gave it a kind of beauty because when someone loses a loved one, the short, simple words of a friend are more of a comfort than a tirade of words that strangers tend to give, which is often the case. Very excellent poem!
