Ok, so on to your story. I like this. I do adore Nat and he's so refreshing. He's not full of teen angst - helps that he's not a teen - and he's no dominating or oppressive which makes for a nice change in the romance section of FP. And I can't wait to see more and more of Charlie's personality. It's hard to stand out when you have someone like Max who hogs the limelight but again, that's realistic. You get people who don't want to be centre stage and those who do. So again I enjoyed this and I want to read more when you're not so bogged down in work and screen writing because honestly, hearing about your homework makes me nervous, lol. Hope to read more.

Shit. I wrote a really fucking good review. Not to say the review looked positively upon your vapid piece of... whatever the fuck this is, I don't know what to call shit anymore - literature... work or literature, whatever - but I wrote it and it was worth two cents and... now I can't remember what it was because my computer came equipped with genital herpes and two sets of ovaries.
I think it said something like, "The plot is flat, the characters are flat, it's the first chapter and I read the reviews first and expected to fall in love with its amazingness and Nat's coolness but there was NOTHING when I was done with it and I tried to find it in the next chapter but I couldn't get through such insipid banality..." or something to that effect. For all intents and purposes, it said, "I hate this so fucking much I can't even give it a fighting chance."
Nat - typical.
Sam - typical.
Charlie - typical.
Max - slutypical.
Nat's mother - fucking typical.
Plot - ded plot is ded.
As a writer, I mourn. As an asshole, I do this. (Hint, hint: this isn't a flame, just very fucking brash [and vulgar, it may appear] frustration manifesting itself in the form of... hell, I don't know, fucking fustration. Heheh. c:)

I'm such a fan of how you've written the conversations between the characters - it all flows so well and so naturally. Great job! Also, I like the pacing of the story It's slow, but is perfect for the way the plot's going.
And I guess it doesn't hurt that Nat's personality is very much like my boyfriend's. =) Not biased. I swear.

I love that last line. It's so good and the whole scene where he's drawing her, very hot. Mostly I just like Nat. He just amuses me and it's nice to see some action between him and Charlie. Update again soon.

I feel bad not reviewing this earlier, especially since it was dedicated to me which was oh so nice and made me feel warm and fuzzy and yet guilt ridden for being bad at the reviewing thing.
Aw I forgot how cute the twins are. They're so adamant about what food they want until Nat throws another one in there and suddenly it's all about the hotdogs. Lol, it still makes me laugh to read about their views on whether Nat is, in fact, a boy or not. It's already up for debate due to his name, lol. Can't wait to see Nessie.
Anyways, write more -though I know you're doing that now- and hopefully FP will have its act together and I'll be able to review on time.

Okay, so this chapter was amazing. I loved all the details and it was a good length. I think Max is hilarious. And I love how you make the girls so real. Like how they speak to one another and call each other names but they don't get angry about it. I call my sister a hooker, but not in a mean way. LOL it's a loving sentiment.
