I read this story a while ago, and I saw this again on SKOW, so I thought I'd have a re-read, only to find that you had taken it down.
I completely sympathise with your reasons, but I just thought you should know that your story was brilliant, with truly vivid characterisation - the characters have stayed with me for a long time now.
Hopefully someday, you'll be able to put it back up again - until then, I hope you continue writing and improving!

I'm sorry you've taken down most of your stories but just to say that my favourite story on here was (and still is) 'Ghetto Gospel'. I've read it around three times in the last few months since I've discovered the site. I love the descriptions, plot and just the general inevitability of Jane and Preston's relationship. In fact due to reading your stories, not just this one but 'A Pocketful Of Poppies' too has given me inspiration, or rather the confidence to publish my own stories (currently on ) and I hope in the future they will be as good as yours.
Sorry to sound a 'kiss-up' and I realize that the recent bout of plagerisation must have hurt you but the fact is the majority of people reading your stories enjoy them for what they are and would never even entertain the idea of passing them off as their own. Especially self-professed bookworms (such as myself) who has read their entire local library and enjoys reading something that is as good as any professional published piece of work.
I realise this review/comment will not help sway your desicion but just remember that your work is amazing and it would be a shame to let your obvious talent go to waste just because of some idiots (for want of a better word) are jealous and in the process ruin it for other people

This story was one of my personal favorites on this site. I read it over five times. Jane and Preston were the sweetest. You are a wonderful author and I wish you luck with the publishing of this story. Please keep us updated if you publish.

I really liked your story. it was not the usual cliche stuff. i thought it was really well written, in character, and not just full of teen romance/angst. it was definitely worth reading. :)

Ive just finished chapter 5 and am officially addicted to it! So far ive read5 of your storys and their all amazing! i hope they get publishefd one day i want them as a book so i can read them whenvever i want to.
Anyway, the story is amazing. The way you show Jane and Preston's growing relationship is brilliant and SO romantic. I laos love how you show the difference between their lives. Its like those circles, intersections. ONe circle is Janes life the other is Prestons and the middle part is their life together.
I didnt mean to write so much but your writing is too amazing. I hope you carry on. And even though it horrible that people have been claiming your work as there own dont stop writing. That would be letting them win.
One last thing, why dont you set up your own wattpad account? Then no one can steal it from you
(There is no way you can improve you writing by the way, its perfect!)

i'm neither the race you mentioned, so I never really thought about it.
Interracial thing isn't that odd around here, but this really made me think of how it could be in some places.
I finished this all in one day, and apsolutely loved it!
It was very weel written. The heart ache && doubts that existed in the begining were some of the things I could definently relate to.

I know this story was written a while ago, but I just wanted to let you know how much I've enjoyed the first chapter. I found myself waiting in anticipation of the moment Jane and Preston would meet a second time. And I got chills when she dreamed of him. (I wish I could have a dream that steamy!)
The first time they met I was instantly reminded of the scene in West Side Story when Tony and Maria first see each other at the dance and everything around them fades away.
In short, I loved it! Can't wait to keep reading!
