I really enjoyed reading this story, there's not a lot of well written interracial stories out there so this was a pleasure to read.
I admit I was disappointed there were only 10 chapters, mostly because I didn't want it to end so quick, but it was great.

Amazing. I really enjoyed the plot line and characters. all very relatable and consistant. You really are talented. There were no pointless scenes or plot holes. Well done. :)

This is an amazing story! Thank you for putting it up here, in it's stark contrast to all those high school angsty dramas;] Not that i don't read those too, but this is completely different, i couldn't stop reading it.
I usually skip a lot during the story, but yours is so engaging a fast paced that i only skipped like two or three passages with Jerome's crew or with Cox. Incredible!;D
Romeo and Juliet theme is definitely there, but i always hated that R+J had to be a tragedy. I love sappy happy endings, i thrive on them when im depressed and yours is perfect! Thak you very much for the pleasant hours spent with your black gangsta and his petite Juliette;)
By the way, Juls father is very well developed character, though disgusting, still very real and believable.
Will definitely read more of your stories, good luck with your writing!

I've read stories that had over 20 reviews and they dont come, not even close, to the quality and depth this story possesses!
This story is beyond great, I can definitly see it up in one of the bookstores in the near future!

Not to be redundant, but I just read your story. Though at first I was a bit off-put by how fast things developed between them, I started loving them really fast, there was no helping it.
Somehow I believe the quick way they fell in love stole space for you to make a development of character, so I'm surprised by how well-rounded and real they seemed even from the first chapter.
After I started loving them (too quickly, too much) I started getting SO worried that the ending was going to be something "Romeo and Julia" like I was basically dreading reading further.
I'm really glad things ended how they had, and god bless this happy ending.

I agree completely with your author's note; it's nice to see some actual depth in the writing on FP, especially in the romance section.
I think you give real authenticity to the characters because you're able to tap their emotions and the way they think really well.

So I just discovered this and I am loving it so far! I haven't even finished the chapter yet but as soon as i read the dear baby line i freaked! I love that movie! I just watched Waitress because I was bored but I loved it! That made me so happy to see it:) i love the pie song she sings

I have just read this entire story in one sitting... and wow. This was fucking amazing. It wasn't the same ol' story, but it still included the love that makes us weak at the knees. You're writing is fucking beautiful, don't ever stop. :]
