the last line had to be my favorite (I find x and y and z but I don’t manage to find myself, lost in the clouds of societal delusion.) because it really sums up the... theme, I guess, of this piece. I liked it, at least partially because I kind of could relate when I was in high school. you project that teen angst in a really realistic way.

also, this is wonderful: (you need something small and insignificant to focus on when you catch a shadow of a glimpse of a fragment of infinity and it makes you feel so small you can hardly breathe.)

it has the veneer of run-of-the-mill angst but it seems deeper somehow. nice.
