I get the summary. And sometimes, even when it seems hopeless, you just try again. We're all still here, right? So at least we're still trying.

The last stanza is particularly touching. The first 3 are more introspective looks and then it ends with the finality of "You pass me by." Very nice.

And the meter is lovely. Even if no one else gets it.
