You reviewed one of my poems a few months ago, so I thought I'd return the favor =)
I'm a personal fan of the free verse style because I think it's better at showing emotion than Dr. Seuss rhyming (haha), so I'm glad to see you went free verse on something like this that clearly has meaning to you. I also like this because it's like a mini story, and I feel like it has blunt honesty.
On a more personal level, keep praying and keep smiling... those are two things that can turn painful situations on their heads. Best of luck to you!
