I absolutely love anything that you write. It's always perfect! I'm really fond and growing attached to Felix. But Oliver kind of annoys me because he's so two-faced. I'd like to see him get put in his place a little bit. I'm neutral on Winnie so far, I think she'll grow on me, though. Both Felix and Winnie seem like strong characters but I'm still waiting on Oliver to give me something more than negative emotion! he's not a very happy person is he? Maybe Felix will change that :)
I'm glad you started this story - I really, really like it so far! And, again, it very strongly reminds me of "A Separate Peace" by John Knowles. It's a classic and just SO GOOD. You said you haven't read it but I think you should try to some day - I read it for school in my honors 10th grade english class and it was one of my favorites! Which is probably why I like this so much. Because it's like "ASP" but with romance!

I feel so evil but I love the perfect boy who gets everything, and the one person he loves hates him for being perfect. It makes for the best love stories. And again you write a marvelously oblivious boy, who, when not confronted with his unbeknown to him, perfect partner, is quite clued in and smart, which in turn makes him an unintentionally cruel jerk. Still, I love both these characters. Winnie sounds like a bit of a catalyst too. can't wait to read more.

He's confused - I mean, he's confused whether he still thinks Felix is his best friend, on what the hell happens next, etc. This chapter makes my heart break at all the right places (for Felix) and makes me laugh (Winnie the Shit!) and makes me relate (Oliver)

And, Winifred? She's awesome! lol. Seriously, having the guts to publicly declare war on the most popular guy because he beat her at rock-paper-scissors in the fifth grade is pretty damn awesome! lol.
Oh, and I have to say, I feel so sorry for Felix! The poor lad's suffering away, and his stupid ex(?) best friend is being all...stupid...
