Like I said, I absolutely loved the Connor/Garnet scene. I just think you portrayed Gemma's emotions perfectly. As a reader who's rooting for Gemma and Connor, naturally I feel like she should think "Aw, he's so good with my kids," but she can't forget about Fletcher either, I'm glad you showed both sides. Can I just say, I could see Connor and Gemma having their own kids, but Connor treating Garnet and Gardner like they were always his. I could also see a sequel, with maybe Gardner or Garnet in the lead spot, with Connor being a bit protective of them...haha. Overall I just loved it, Gemma needed to see Connor with Garnet, I think it will help romantic feelings to...bloom :)

I really like how this story is developing, Connor is so sweet and im really curious about him. There's something about this story, i dont know if im just being weird, but its really realxing and pleasant to read...as in i enjoy reading it, and i like the pace of it. Can't wait to read more :D

Ouch. That's gotta sting. Oh well, I guess Connor will just have to show Gemma how unbrotherly he can be... in a respectful, subtle way, of course.
And what's with the candy corn? Does he have a fetish? Are they magic candy corns, like the magic beans in the fairy tale? But they cause someone to fall in love with you instead of growing beanstalks...? Can I get some?
Oh! I love Addie. So mischievous. We'd get along famously. I also think it's so adorable seeing older couples still or falling in love. Big hugs all around!

M, definitely like the ending that way :) And, I'm loving the candy theme that is threading its way through the chapters, and Gemma and Connor's friendship. I also LOVED the weasel/skunk lines...definitely got a giggle out of me :) I am super excited about the relationship that is blooming between Gemma and Connor, and I'm just glad her pronouncement of brotherly/sisterly love isn't all that's there!

I love her reliance on the Lord. He never fails to help you if you accept it. I liked how you portrayed His answer to her prayer. He does things on His time, though, not yours.
Anyways! Mr. Stirling is a bleepity bleep bleep bleep. He'll get what he deserves. NO ONE should hit a child... especially if it's in anger and it's not your child. Some people, I swear. I just hope he doesn't retaliate against Gemma for what Connor may do.
And speaking of Connor... I shall dream of thee tonight you sweet sexy man, you. Meow!

Definitely liked the changes on this one! I loved Connors protectiveness at the end. Truthfully, I think that is one characteristic about guys that I really love...well not all guys, but some guys. There is just something about knowing that they would do whatever it takes to protect you that is comforting. I'm glad you brought that out of Connor's character here! I also really hate William Stirling, and I am glad that Gemma quit! Great chapter :)

I am loving Connor! Also, I wonder how the new info Conner gave about Stirling, little though it may be, will affect Gemma's thoughts and respect towards him. Interesting thought. Great chapter! :)
