The beginning seemed a little rushed with her agreeing to go to lunch and then forgiving him for lying to her. It just happened a little too fast.
But, other than that, her conversation and coincidences with Connor is amazing! Small world, indeed. And speaking of small world... with Connor's "few projects in the area" that he wants to work on... I wonder what that is. Hmm.

I am still loving the relationship that's building between Gemma and Connor. I don't think she sees him as a threat to what she had with her husband, yet. I am also not liking Mr. Stirling. He seems to do whatever to get what he wants. I know Gemma's on to him though. Excellent as always :)

I want some of those pies. They sound delicious! If you've made them yourself, I would love the recipe. Seriously. They sound like Pralines-in-a-pie. Yummy!
Ok, back to the story... I like Gemma's "turn lemons into lemonade" attitude.
I hope her confrontation with Mr. Stirling doesn't get messy. He seems a slimy dirtbag.

Love the little game Connor and Gemma are playing :) She is clever to leave early, but he definitely has her number, and won't take no for an answer. I like the tug of war thing you've got going on! I also loved the childrens comments about their feet not being awake. So adorable. I also really enjoyed the end. I think it's much more discreet and works better with the rest of the chapter and her relationship with Mr. Stirling! I'm gald to see an update and read the changes! I like this chapter a whole lot and hope Connor won't have to wait long for another piece of honey pie!

Wow. I think the bee-stinging and honey situation really showed Gemma who was in control, and still is. I love those eye-opening experiences that remind us that it's not by ourselves that we succeed. :)

I absolutely loved this chapter! So I guess I should start with the beginning. I loved that Connor got a good enough sense of Gemma on their first ride to know that she would try to avoid him. Then, what made it even better, was the fact that he adjusted his own schedule to catch her! What a cute, romantic, kind thing to do :) And the way he was so concerned when he heard about her employer making her cry, ah. I am so completely iffy about Mr. Stirling's character...he just gives me a BAD feeling, which I'm sure was purposeful on your part! Then the part with the honey in the end! Gosh, women used to be so much more resourceful...or maybe I'm just not resourceful! I would never go and find honey after someone was stung! And then if I had taken that daring step...I wouldn't have known how to get the honey out of it! Simply amazing, and yet, so Gemma. Loved every word!

So much to love about this chapter! I love that Connor was kind enough to pick them up on the road, and also enjoyed his naivity..."There must be something wrong with her automobile." I also really loved his attempt to get her to eat candy, and her near acceptance of it! Ah, so cute :)
