It was a cute little poem and no, the formatting didn't come out right on my computer. :( But good job anyway! ^^

I really like this! It was very creative and I've never actually seen a poem like that before, I've seen the regular ones, but the way you 'cheated' made it more unique and interesting.

Hey there again! :) Been quite a while, huh? This poem is wonderful. As I was reading this, I was wondering if the assignment pertained to the book, Night by Elie Wiesel. (I had to read this for english class over the summer as well). And I also had to fill out an AP "short" form (so not short, for 3 books I ended up typing over 5 pages, single-spaced. What are the teachers doing..getting kids hopes up like that? short my... xD). One of the criteria I had to write was my favorite part of the book. Mine's (is there such word?) is found of page 86:

"He [Eliezer’s dad] stared all around him ... to find out exactly where he was, in what place, and why. Then he smiled. I shall always remember that smile. ... The snow continued to fall in thick flakes over the corpses. "

This part almost made me want to cry. The things these Holocaust prisoners went through..it's devastating and heartbreaking.

Anyways, I thought this poem was successful and pointed out one of the central themes of Night: togetherness even in the face of death and despair.

Good job! ..And thanks for reading all this if you did. -mit :)

I loved this, it was really cool. I liked how you 'cheated' because it makes it different. This actually might have made my personal favorite poems list along with the brilliant poem "When I Think About Myself" by Maya Angelon (I think that's how you spell her last name) Yeah. Anyways, I wish I were in S.E.A.R.C.H that'd be nice. But of course since I already go to a nerd school that has nothing but the 'gifted' in it that's out of the question. Yeah, I'm in all honors. Oh, by the way I found this amusing. My mother's friend's daughter went to a meet and greet at my school for open enrollment kids and it was right before the opening night of the middle school play I was in. So, she asked my mom "So, is it all drama kids?" and I found that highly amusing because almost no one is a drama kid. Well, actually never mind, there are a lot. Because our theatre teacher is cool. That's actaully not that amusing. Hmm, oh dear, I got off topic again.

I like how simple this is. It also matches the book Night perfectly, I think. I also like the way you formatted it. Well done.
