I KNEW IT...from the very beginning...what a jackass! Poor poor Gracie...
The one thing that really hit me is how Gracie realized she wasn't in love with him anymore...that fits in PERFECTLY to something happening in my life right now and I can't tell you how great it was to read that right now!

Yeah, so Carlin's a lying, cheating prick, and Sarah's a Grade A biyatch. (I'm trying to avoid being censored by the profanity filter. Otherwise, I'd be more explicit.) Gracie's better off without either of them. Good riddance to Simon, who I've never taken a liking to. But please say that Gracie at least puts Sarah in her place! When is Jonah coming back, and whose side will he take? Most likely with Gracie, but... you never know.

Holy crap.
That was a total surprise. Carlin's an a-hole, and I didn't even figure it out before you spilled the beans. It's incredible! I rarely get duped! (For some reason I have a knack for figuring out plot twists before they happen..)
Man, this makes me want to scream. Poor Gracie. Her sister is gonna kill her, and the only one who will beleive her will prolly be wonderful Jonah. *nudge nudge*
I wonder why Carlin would wait until now to have sex with Gracie... maybe, some sort of "I want what I can't have" complex or a "she's mine so you can't date anybody" problem. Or maybe it was harassment out of convience.

Damn, that was intense. I'm definitely vicariously angry as a result, excellent job. Oh and nice mention of St. Louis, the place is haunting me. I was supposed to go there last weekend to visit friends but I had to work and now everything I see is trying to remind me of it haha. Even fictionpress isn't safe. Okay, that was a totally unrelated tangent, but nice chapter, I look forward to the next one. =]

Hahahah, I should be writing too! But instead, I'm reading and procrastinating and dicking off. What can you do?
I was glad to see more of Jonah; I thought he was cold and standoffish originally but he's actually warmer and a lot sweeter. I liked how Sarah was able to make him blush and embarrass him; made him seem more human.
Seems like Gracie's got a couple of hot dudes to pick from...she's on her way to getting over her married love!

I find Sarah annoying even though I know that she's necessary for the plot; I just find her too pushy and not really a listener. Of course that's what twin sisters can be like, I suppose.

Yes, I myself have had quite enough of the high school scene with the insecure girls and arrogant guys. I've veered into writing about people my own age myself and it's a nice break.
I liked the clubbing scene and the introduction of the new characters; I just would like to see the girls (Gracie and Cassie) take some action and go after their men instead of pining.
I hope Gracie gets over her attitude towards Simon; he seems sweet and she's being a bitch. Also hah hah at the Facebook creeping!

Simon sounds sweet...hopefully he'll give Gracie another chance! I liked the little interactions Gracie had with Jonah; he sounds like a fascinating character.
I like this story because it has a mature feel to it, even though Gracie has her issues. Good so far!

Hey there,
I found this story via Undiscovered and thought I'd give it a try. This is an excellent first chapter; you've really succeeded in pulling in the reader into Gracie's world. I like that you didn't make Gracie too angsty and mopey and I'm looking forward to see her eventually get over Carlin.
