Perfect! Most perfect ending ever! Slap me, please, to rid my face of this horrid smile! I can't stop! That was so freaking adorable and I love it :D
I just don't even know what to say. Okay, so Grace was a great character. I liked her a lot, though she did annoy me with her obliviousness - or her reluctance to move forward in a romantic relationship - but when she finally pulled through I was ecstatic :D I mean, the man loves her! She had to do something!
And then Jonah. Oh my Lord kill me now because he is perfect. I love his calm demeanor and how he only lets his control slip when he's with Grace. He really is the perfect man, and he's Irish! He just really made me feel good for some reason, haha, because he was so thoughtful, caring, and patient. He was just perfect.
I really did like the story, and I'm glad Carlin and Simon didn't turn out to be the type of guys the readers would swoon over because they were both bi*ches. I'm kind of still mad at Sarah because she turned her back so easily and quickly on Grace, and I know if any of my sisters did that to me I wouldn't forgive them unless they groveled at my feet (and I'm not one to hold grudges).
But the story was still great and I really enjoyed it :D

Wow...I can honestly say I did not expect that twist. However, it was clearly foreshadowed. This story has added itself to the list of the few stories that actually managed to surprise me.

I love this story. It's incredibly well-written.
If you publish it into a book, then you'll make it big. It'll be a hit.
Creative plot-line, this is the second time I'm reading it. I just can't get enough!
Keep it up!

Such a wonderful read. Loved how detailed you were with the musicals, and how you added in touches of Irish in there. You can really see Grace's character development, I especially appreciated when Sarah really gave it into Grace about how difficult it was to be her sister sometimes, it was the hard truth. Thanks for sharing this with us!

Hey girl hey!
It's Amy from A Drop of Romeo! To Feel the Sun has been readded to ADoR on the new site and with it comes a brand spankin' new review!
We've all had, or will have, that unrequited love at some point in our lives. Some may last a few months. Others may last a decade (or longer. I would know). And Grace Dasher is no exception to the not so lovely side of love.
Grace has been in love with her friend Carlin since they first met when she was twelve. Ten years later, she's having to watch him marry someone else. Someone who is nice, which makes the pill of unrequited love that much harder to swallow. She's had to watch him date other women for years, all while never getting into a relationship of her own, nor admitting her feelings to him; all because she was afraid of losing that friendship. While drowning her sorrows at the open bar, cello player Simon tries to cheer her up, only for her to whip him with some not so nice remarks. Grace's twin sister Sarah thinks Simon is the answer to help Grace get over Carlin and decides to play matchmaker. Then enter Grace's coworker, and her father's young, successful law partner, Jonah O'Mara. At first glance, he seems the opposite of Grace, with his almost indifferent attitude. But, as they say, opposites attract. And one would have to be blind to not find Jonah O'Mara incredibly attractive.
As the story goes on, there are times you want to just strangle Grace as she tries her hand in her first ever relationship with Simon. But, having been in similar situations as Grace before, I can understand the awkwardness and reservations she has concerning Simon. There are parts that you'll need to break out the tissues. Aurette's managed to make Grace relatable to us that aren't quite so experienced in the love department. Being around the same age as the main character, I found myself relating to her a lot. Which made the read all the more enjoyable. If Grace can find a way to get over her first love, then maybe there's hope for others like her (and myself!), too.
xoxo,
Amy

the ending of this chapter sure was amusing.. but I felt slightly annoyed that Gracie needed to rely on a knight to help her face Carlin again. I mean, yeah, I sure as hell would need someone like Jonah to help me go back to Carlin's apartment, but I thought Gracie needed to advance and take some sort of initiative. in the verbal fight the sisters had, it was true that Gracie always seemed to be melancholic and somewhat of a downer..
I don't know what I'm trying to convey. also, I don't know how I feel about Sarah apologizing soon after Carlin told the truth... damn, it's good to not be Gracie.

holy crap!
Carlin's a dick, but holy crap, Jonah-you've made him human. his house sounds very lived in compared to his office, and that kiss. here I was, squealing and kicking my legs. :)
I hope you are doing well. stay healthy! haha.

yaaaaaaaaaaaayy, Jonah.
actually, my favorite scenes in this story have to be the ones that include Facebook stalking. I am... guilty...

wow, well that was touching.
From the start, I never really thought that she was in love with carlin. She said she was, but there was absolutely nothing to back it up. When Simon came along, she got mad at him but I didn't understand why, there was absolutely nothing to not like. maybe there was nothing to like either. It's just that she said she didn't like him for no reason. When Jonah was introduced, I knew. I was pretty sure that it would come down to the suitable lover and the unsuitable lover (j and s) but it didn't really. I was not expecting the turn of events that happened at all. There was nothing to suggest carlin was a womaniser/cheater at all until it happened, but we didn't really see much of him.
Anyway, I liked it. it was really cute. of course, I want a Jonah...it's a good name and he has the ideal qualities of the perfect man haha. also irish. anyway I think he's adorable, and I'm glad that Gracie didn't just forgive Sarah straight away when she was a complete bitch. that's good. But there were a few typos I noticed throughout it, such as when she is hanging out with carlin you call him Simon once, missed out full stops and such. This type of stuff could be avoided by having someone read it through/a beta reader/have another read yourself. but I liked it. :)

Aw, this story was so sweet! I saw this story ages ago but I never got around to reading it, because I absolutely hate love triangles (and thats what it seemed like from the description)! But then I read that one shot about the fax machines and Jonah was just so damn sweet and adorable! I would definitely take him over some badass any day!
