That was beautiful! I absolutely loved it. I busted out in tears at the end lol. Wow just wow! I could so get used to stories like this in the future...but with a much happier ending lol. Although I didn't mind this one at all. Mostly because it just felt right for them both to die like that. Idk but this was awesome! This is the best alternate ending EVER! *sigh* Anyway I'm done ranting now lol. Just had to get that out there. I hope you have more stories like this up your sleeve for the future! Oh btw I loved both Brothers Thunder and I'm almost done reading Fade to Gray. I've yet to comment on them but as soon as I finish reading Fade to Gray I will :D

so, i read this on your other site but decided to review here. basically, i just wanted to say that i loved that ending. personally, after reading this, i prefer james and kate. he just sounds so much more manly in this story and less of a horrible monster, and now john sounds like a pansy... no offense. anyways, i just wanted to say that i loved that last chapter. it tied everything together, and it was just really good. great job.

I'll be honest. At first I was skeptical about this pairing and had mixed feelings about it. But it was beautifully written (as usual) and the ending made me cry. D: Very sad story with much psychology, makes one think, really. Not a fan of that style of ending, but you pulled it off well!
By all means, keep up the writing! It is always interesting to see these alternate endings/ideas. ^_^
Also, I demand more Fade to Grey. It has so much potential and I'm dying see what happens next. xD
