This fic is absolutely AMAZING. Its actually pretty hard for me to find a completed story, or any story really, that I actually love on here, but this really did it ! (I dunno why but "Sleeping with the enemy" didn't really click for me, maybe because I only read it after I had read this story).
I also really like "Broken Telephone", but I have to say "Rough Petals" is my favourite of yours by far.
I can't explain it, there's just something thats so real about the tale you've told, and yet at the same time, completely surreal. I'm in love with Cole's character haha no matter how much of an ass he can be and Charlie is equally captivating (much like the rest of them). This was superbly written, again I can't explain, but everything just interwined really beautifully, like things that happened can be related back to other things that occured, haha I dunno.. anyway.. before I just ramble away now..

Well, here i am again, around an hour later, 2:30 in the morning, but who cares, its a holiday tomorrow...at least for me it is.
But on to the story.. A wonderful one. Delightful, with lots of plot twists and turns, and with a dallop of depth added too... i could go on with the whole dash of this and pinch of that, but lets just say that in the end it came out wonderful...
I would also be saying things a lot better then i am right now if it were earlier, or if i were more awake then i am...
But anyways, WONDERFUL story, can't wait to read more of yours, hope you keep posting!

ok, i must say that i'm loving this story! mostly i just stopped reading to write a quick note about your funny story at the end of this chapter, about you fainting...
I've never fainted, been in the hospital more times then i can count on one hand, approaching the point where its going to fill in all my fingers... various reasons, the most recent being one that the doctors had no clue what was wrong with me
then theres the appendicitis... all fun. basically, blood doesn't freak me out, i hate pain but have a fairly good tolerance of it, and have never fainted. mind you, I think it would be an interesting experiance, especially if something happened to me while i was out. But nope, my mom has to be the one to be able to say she faints at the sight of blood, i'm just thinking to myself, wow, i like that color of red..
and, this is really random, its getting late, and i'm either tired, or semi hyper because i'm getting tired..
either way, your gonna think i'm weird when you read this, so i'm gonna stop now
still loving the story though! will write a better review for the story when i'm done with it, sorry about being really random and all...

wow, i loved it. heck, i loved cole. i liked sleeping with the enemy but i think the sequel is better. i don't know what else to say that sounds...good enough. ugh. main point: yo have a great talent and i loved reading this. ;)

I read your stories a really long time ago and never thought about reviewing. Today after reading them again I changed my mind. I love your stories, they make me cry and hate you(not really) sometimes but I guess that what stories are all about. I love the twists you put in your stories and you imagination. Oh my! I love this story :) It's so real. I love the characters as well. It really portrays a lot about love and forgiveness. Then at the end I was so surprised seeing "The Rabbit Hole" being mentioned! I never made the connection that you were the same author for both stories! My friend and I follow TRH as if our lives depend on it, bahaha!

Hahaha. Cole said "That's what she said" in the perfectly normal context, and I went back to read the previous bit of dialogue, thinking that I'd missed some dirty double meaning. But there was nothing there!

I love this story! But I'm not so sure I love the ending. I want them to get married! I sort of expected him to propose to her...:(
But anyways, the writing is great, it flowed easily. I loved the characters and...yeah.
