Ok, so I normally don't make comment posts so soon after one another... but I really, really, -really- just wanted to commend you on your freakin' creativeness. The stuff you come up with for your plotline is bloody fantastic, because I can actually imagining it happening in real life and real time. I also appreciate that Charlie's backstory is believable, and not some overdone fake sobstory that too many authors employ because they can't come up with anything else.
There were TONS of good lines and segments in this chapter alone. My favorites: Cole actually breaking in to Charlie's (I definitely laughed out loud at this one), the scar part and how Charlie admitted that she had never even looked at it, and EVERYTHING about the lord of the rings marathon (if I lol-ed before, I completely died laughing at the ending of this.)

This was just an amazing chapter. I think it'll go down as one of my favorite fictionpress chapters of all time (XD). C & C's interactions are hilarious, and so REAL. Loved it!

Ahh Sybil is too too cute! a tree, ha ha. I can't decide now, the story's light and fun... but the whole drunken-dad-murdered-mom-stabbed-in-the-back (literally) is just a completely different element. soo... it's both? yes. it's both.

wow I think this story is a little more dramatic and dark than Sleeping. Well, I guess Cole just brings drama wherever he goes.

You must have been in a rush... many typos in here. On a different note, very much enjoying this story so far. Loved everything the part between him living with a 13 year old and ending up in a cab with an ugly dog. very funny.

charlie/charlotte is a very pretty/cute name. I love how both your stories have Cole as the main male character/love interest but both are told by the girl. It's very interesting. Not that big of a deal but you used "your" instead of "you're" towards the beginning of this chapter (sorry, it's a pet peeve).

M interesting... so far, I only recognize Cole so I don't really know where this story is headed but that's the fun part, right? It's been a while since I read Sleeping so I'm not even sure if I would recognize any other characters so I'm hoping that it's not big deal... or I may have to re-read Sleeping, which I guess isn't that bad, I do have all of winter break, after all...

oke, so i finally have time to review. all in all it's a really great story. i like the way your characters developed and how the whole story unfolded. it's a really nice story, but it's strange. i just think the connection between cole and joss is more special, maybe it's my imagination but it just feels like the relationship between cole and charlie isn't as bis as joss and cole's. i still liked the story and sleeping with the enemy. i'm looking forward to reading more of your stuff. merry christmas
