I'll admit it, I don't have a big thing for poetry, but that doesn't mean I won't read, or like it. Somehow I stumbled upon this, and I liked it. I guess when I think of poetry I think of every other line rhyming, which is why every attempt I make at the art sounds goofy. And while this poem didn't rhyme every other line, I noticed it every here and there, and it worked quite well. In all honesty, those who can use words so tactfully that it becomes a poem has my respect. Plus, emotion is often the best charge for writing, and it's obvious here. Yeah, sorry I went ahead and wrote a freakin' paragraph, but I don't read poetry often, and when I ran across this and found no reviews, I knew that someone had to. Job well done!
