Oh, this is really good! You've got a very distinctive writing style that really draws the reader in, and all your speech sounds really realistic. I know that's a problem that some writers have, that their characters don't talk like people actually talk, but you don't have that issue at all. Your descriptions are clear and easy to follow, and you paint the scenes remarkably well. I feel like I'm in the story. I can imagine everything. I really like it! :)

I just re-read it again after a whole year! (I think :\)
It's still as tragic and beautiful as it was then and I love it.
One thing, though, can you change its status to COMPLETE cuz I opened it up hopefully like...Maybe there's more... maybeeeee :p

Well, I knew it going in what I was getting myself into. I shouldn't have read the reviews before the amazing story. Lesson learned. It was quite marvelous, and I feel you truly expanded on the main characters' personalities, which made them both extremely attractive. In truth I was made to wonder what I would do when placed in the situation Cole had been thrust into. I am certain doubt would overcome my mind-death would have been a respite were I not such a coward-so maybe a short-lived insanty may overtake me. You did a tremendous job of depicting his turmoil. I just wish it would have lasted longer for the sake of getting to know him more. :)

OMG! I love this story. It's so sad! I swear I'm crying right now. I wish that Harlan and Alicia had more time together. I wish they had a happy ending and he didn't die. God, I wish he found out that he didn't do anything to Holly and she got what she deserves. God, I wish for a lot of things, but AMAZING story!

I've reviewed this before, but I thought I'd just let you know that this is one of those select few stories I come back to. To read over and over again. I just wished they had a little more time. Holly was a bitch, she may have been through hell but that sure as hell didnt give her the right to make Harlan's life hell. Bless blondie. I absolutely adore this story. Thanks for writing it and all.

I was a little shocked about how Harlan and Alicia got together, but I was glad too. I couldn't believe Alicia had the courage to go into his room. At night. And, later, to get in his bed!
Anyway, at the end, I nearly started crying. It was so sad that Harlan was actually innocent, and that he and Alicia couldn't stay together.

Just got through reading this one, and I am impressed! It ended on a very sad note, I actually found myself tearing up at the end. Harlan/Cole's life was such a tragedy.
Anyway, this was a very interesting premise and you wrote it pretty believably. If I were to fall in love with a kidnapper this how I would want it :P

Oh my goshhhh. I read this entire thing just today and I swear, I'm about to cry. It took me a minute to get the whole Harlan=Cole and Harlan=Callum thing, but I still love it. All of it. Oh my God, I just wish he could have lived and they could have escaped together, and maybe now they'd be sitting in a little cafe in Sydney, sipping tea and trying to figure out who was trying to take them into custody...Can I just have my own little ending in my mind that they were happy together at the end?

Well when I first started reading it, I realised I had read it before ages ago and at first I though someone had plagurised it! Then I realised that you have just changed it and made it so much more awesome xD! Really I absolutely loved this story. The end is really sad but sweet at the same time :). Nice work!

*sniffle* *SNIFF* *blow out into a full fledged sob* NOOO WAHH HE DIEDDDDD NOOOOOOO but omg his diary enteries were nice! but man i didnt expect her to do that! or for it to turn out that holly's brother did that to her! but who was holly bro? u didnt introduce him right? i think it was ben but ben's the friend oh well i plan to reread this whole thing again so i'll know soon lol but still this was nice! can u update ur other stories too? ^.^
