A nice read. I was looking for something with a bit of a bedtime story feel and this was a pleasant late night surprise. I liked that you used a broad range of senses and painted a clear picture that was easy to relate to.

At first a person could think that she's merely crazily infatuated with the pianist, but come to find out she's not, lol. This was very nice. The shortness of it intensified the way it was supposed to come off and gave it a great touch.

This is beautiful, absolutely beautiful. I'm a pianist myself, and I really appreciate anything that relates to the instrument, and you captured the sensuality of the music so well. This is such a rich piece for being as short as it is; you achieve so much in so few words. And the first sentence! It's only two words long, but it works SO well. Wonderful job!

This is gorgeous. I love the description you used, especially in the second line with, "brash scarlet, refreshing green, electric blue, exploding in a rainbow of sound." to describe the sound of the piano. I loved how you compared the music to color, very original. Anyway, very nice job with this!

Short cute and definitely one that you will continue. I like it very much. I don't really see any problems and hopefully we get his name, her name, whether or not he does this as his full time job, Is he a great pianist?, budding beginner, or just someone who plays well enough to be on stage.
Is she ordinary but extraordinary in his sights, and is he the silent but passionate type when they get home?
Hopefully these questions will inspire you to continue and one last thing What is she wearing that really gives meaning behind his smile?
