Wow. I don't even know what to say.
In the 3rd stanza, I really love "to claim, no fate" Maybe because I insist on reading it as 'no claim to fate,' or maybe it's something else. But I really do love it. That whole stanza, actually.
The last stanza is also amazing. "merely a shared plot / and stone under / which to lie." Wow. Great ending.
It's a wonderful telling of a sad story. As always, excellent imagery and attention to line length and breaks.
