I really liked this first chapter! Although, just as constructive criticism...I'm wondering, wouldn't Kayla feel kind of weird that she's being 'shared' in a way? I don't know. That's how I see it. I'm kind of guessing that you'll use that as part of the humor in the story but I can't tell with this. I just thought I'd point out that awkward point. Anyway, keep up the great work!
