Okay, I'm going to re-review this as FP cut off my original review after like a sentence or two and it was a little annoying as I wrote quite a bit; so here it is.
Well, I stayed up until about 4am reading this on my Ipod last night :'D ... But then it died right at the end of chapter 15 |: stupid electrical appliances and their need to be charged.
But yeah, I decided to come back here this morning and finish it off, and give you a review too

That chapter made me hungry:) I want meat now to Devon^_^Anyway, yay!Kenba is back. I'm glad and I'm glad that it seems Devon will give him a chance. It sucks that it took him almost being raped to figure that out, but sometimes it takes extreme circumstances to have a change of heart.

Aw, poor Kenba. Devon shut him down:( And he was harsh about it. I can kind of understand Devon's point of view. He feels betrayed and that hit a nerve with him, but he's been so accepting about everything else. And he's sad too, so no one wins:(But, you made it sound like things will get better next chapter^_^ I'll have to read it right now.

Informative start for a story. There are some grammar mistakes throught the chapter, but I read that you're going to edit this, so here's a place to start. Nothing major, but you said to point it out so I did:) I'm interested about the stranger. Is he a werewolf? Is he a made up species? I like how you have him growling and purring and how he smells like lavendar. Usually people use masculine, woodsy smells so I think that was a unique idea. I'm interested to see what is going on? Will the man still be there? Was the main character claimed as a mate? Hmm, questions questions. Oh, I also like how you described the feeling of him being bitten on the neck, instead of just saying he was bit on the neck. It added more description and most people don't do that so it made your story stick out too.^_^

Cool story! I'm looking forward to seeing how things develop with Isabella and Brookes. Devon did go rather fast from being suspicious of Kenba to head-over-heels, but they are cute together.

Imouto approves. *nodding and smirking* Oh my, oh my, this chapter is undescribable and even furthermore unbelievable. I can reassure you of this doll, there was not one sentence that was boring in this chapter. I enjoyed each word. I even found myself reading out loud at some point and rereading the ending thrice. It was truly fun. I havn't had this much fun reading sometihng in a while. I thank you for that.
And as for the Devom being emo, well...meh it's alright. It kinda shows that even after all the events, he still has some part of his humanity left in him. It's kinda nice.

I forgot to mention this in my last reply:
I totally agree with you that Devon's emoing is damn annoying and needs to stop. I liked him a lot better in the first few chapters where he was still human and when he was just starting the Change. He was more feisty, tough, and defensive. It really bugged me how (in Ch.15) he was so desperate to prove himself to the others that he was trustworthy and not a threat. He was acting as if he did something wrong and needed to make amends or something, which is preposterous, because he did NOTHING wrong. Yeah, he went a little crazy violent in Ch.14, but it was to defend Kenba and himself from possible mortal danger, so going batsh*t on those bastards was A-OK. And no innocents were harmed during that incident so he really needs to stop with the guilt trip/self-pity/emoing/whatever the hell he's doing. The others were in the wrong for being such paranoid idiots. That's their problem and he shouldn't mollycoddle them. It was annoying (and kind of pathetic) to see him falling over himself to please and reassure them, and then make promises that he may not be able to fulfill. He has only known most of them for a few hours and it's not like they have done anything for him to make him feel like he owes them or something. I get that he feels like he has found a true family and wants to make them happy and all that, but he really shouldn't become a doormat in the process. Devon has gained physical strength with the Change, but to me, he has become weak in character. Aside from when he or Kenba are in mortal peril, I feel like he has lost his backbone. What happened to the Devon that cussed Kenba out and told him to piss off after finding out about the forced mating and Change? Back then he wasn't so easily influenced and quick to please. I kind of blame Kenba for how Devon is now. Kenba has domesticated him. Devon is so lovestruck that he has turned meek; too mushy for my taste. Love and affection are good, but too much sweetness makes me gag. I'm not sure if I'm making any sense... but basically I would really love to see Devon become a tough as nails bad@ss, and no more emoing P*SSY cat.
Ok, I'll shut up now and wait for the next chapter before I comment again. ;)

I just finished reading all 15 chapters and I'm craving for more. This is a fantastic story and I wanted to say thanks for sharing it with us. :)
In regards to Ch.15: I was getting seriously irritated with how the others were treating Devon, like he was the enemy. It was completely irrational and unreasonable for them to be suspicious of Devon and assume the worst of him, when he has done nothing wrong and only because he MIGHT be related to Isabella and Brookes; something he has absolutely no control over. I get that they are traumatized from the past, but it's cruel to shun someone because they're related to a criminal. It's like hating all Germans because they may be related to a Nazi. That's just absurd. They need to remember that it was Kenba who dragged Devon into the family (pretty much against his will, might I add) so they would be totally paranoid to think that this is some kind of elaborate setup and Devon is here to finish them off. I kind of wish Devon had said something about their unfair treatment, just to make them feel somewhat ashamed of their behavior.
Now that Hasan revealed how Isabella and Brookes were very secretive, I really want to know how he could have loved her. Obviously they weren't soul mates since they didn't get together right off the bat, so they must have decided to become a couple because of mutual attraction, which makes me really wonder what it was about her that drew Hasan in. I'd like to think he wasn't so weak as to fall in love with her because of her beauty, but it's hard to think of another reason. I mean, if the person you like doesn't trust you enough, or even love you enough, to let you into their heart and share their secrets, and only gives you access to half of themselves, it would be very difficult to maintain affection for them, so it must have been her outer beauty that blinded Hasan's other eye to the fact that she was a monster underneath and made him overlook/ignore the abundant red flags. She obviously had no inner beauty, so if she had also been butt ugly on the outside, I'm sure he would have dropped her like a hot potato.
Kenba was a total ass at the end there in the hallway, belittling Devon like that. Jesus, does he really need to be reminded that Devon is practically a newborn (in the were-leopard sense) so no sh*t, of course he wouldn't be able to fight Kenba off. That's why he's getting training in the morning, douchebag. And I really hated what he said: "We trusted them too and look where it got us." If I was Devon, I would have been so damn offended and insulted about being compared to those two monsters, and insinuating that he could do the same sh*t. I would have thrown a total b*tch fit and kicked Kenba in the junk. The jerk-off would have deserved it.
The sex scene was fine in my opinion, so don't fret over it. Beggars can't be choosers. Of course good sex is necessary in a slash story, but for me, it's not the most important part. Good dialogue and plot development are the things I care most about. But don't get me wrong, I love smut too. ;)
I hope that you reveal what happened between Kenba and Samantha in the next chapter, or as soon as possible (I'm dying of curiosity). From the picture in Hasan's study, it was obvious they were a couple. When did that start? and When did it end? Samantha blames Devon, so I have a feeling Kenba ended things with her somewhat recently, perhaps even right after the 'climbing Devon's balcony and pseudo-raping him' incident. Also, Samantha's cat form hasn't been revealed (or maybe I missed it?) so it would be great if that could be answered. Let it be clear that I despise Samantha and couldn't care less if she died in a ditch, but I am curious about her. :P And of course I'm also curious about how (and why) she and Curtis came to associate with Isabella and Brookes again. It was mighty suspicious that both of them weren't in the city when the attack happened 3 years ago. Also, you never made it clear what Brookes and Isabella's relationship is. Brother and sister? Cousins? And what are their animal forms? It wouldn't have made sense for Jeremiah to accept humans (even if they had powers) into the family, so they must also be were-animals.

I think if I was Devon after getting whcked like that I would have said "Fine, I'll sleep on the couch ya prick!" Especially after Kenba said that the bedroom was just 'his', the punk!
