I think the whole falling for your best friend's boyfriend is shitty thing to do, but I can't help but feel bad for her. I guess she really couldn't control it.
She probably only slept with that Scott guy for a feeling of contentment and it bit her on the ass. I feel so sorry for her. Who gives those bitches a right to insult her for having sex with him. It may have been stupid, but it's nothing to do with them.
All I can say is, I'm glad I've never fallen in love and hopefully I never will. I don't think broken hearts are such great feelings, you know.

Oh, I really wish you'd written an epilogue, if only because I really loved this story and I want to read more about Garth and Meredith.
This was a great story. I didn't expect to like it so much, but you proved me wrong. I found the interactions between Garth and Meredith to be very entertaining and I loved all the references to the bands and the books. I personally love Kafka and Sigur Ros, but to each their own I guess. I also loved how the romance between Garth and Meredith was a gradual, subtle thing and it grew so that it was so believable and genuine. Also, Garth is a really weird name, but I liked it.
I kind of wish you had made this story longer, though. I feel like you could have expanded on some things like given more depth to Meredith and Evan's friendship as well as more background into Garth, Dev, and Sam's past. I feel like the story was too centered on Meredith and Garth's growing romance that it kind of detracted from the rest of the story. Don't get me wrong, I love both the story and the romance, but I really do believe there could have been more depth. It was like you were just scratching the surface of everything else.
Overall, though, I loved the story and the characters and I really enjoyed reading it :D

I love that Sam has finally gotten with Dev! It's about time. Evan and Bobby are a weird combination, but I guess.
But Garth and Meredith. I really like that confrontation at the end. Even though it was short it really got right to the point of things and it evokes such emotions.

Ahh, I wish Garth had expanded on why he was there! I mean, it's obvious he wants her to say that she has actual feelings for him, but can you blame her for not saying so? He left her! I still like him, but I wish they would just be honest with each other now.

The truth isn't so far off from the original story, but at least I understand it now. It makes sense for how they cut off their friendship and for the aftermath, but for all that to continue onto college? Shame.
Shame on Garth too for leaving Meredith so terribly. That was a douchebag move, too.

I'm not sure how I feel about Evan just yet since most of the story was really about Garth and Meredith and Evan only came out occasionally, in which those moments did not work in her favor.
At first I thought that Garth was high or something, but I like that he finally opened up to Meredith.

Ooh, that was an intense fight. Like, really. It had the perfect set-up and the execution was wonderful. I felt their hatred and their betrayal. I still would like to know what really happened that night with Dev's sister, though.

I did not expect that from Sam! But gosh, Dev! Why can't he like the good girls?! I'm not liking Evan very much, but Sam and Meredith were perfect candidates!
Now, why Garth is acting that way is beyond me, but I'm glad we get to find out in the next chapter :D

Garth's starting to seem suspicious. Well, not like he has a hidden agenda, but like there must be a reason they didn't see each other for four days. And they had sex. I guess I thought Garth wouldn't do that especially since Meredith came in there crying, but who knows what he was thinking.
And I don't think that Dev broke up with Evan because of Meredith. I think Evan brought all of that upon herself. Dev's rejection of Meredith was...blunt, but I'm glad they got that over with. Great chapter, though!

It'd be better if Meredith didn't do things that would intentionally put her in a position where she would come between Dev and Evan.

I don't think I've read a story of friends-with-benefits, but I'm glad this is my first one. I like how they're handling their arrangement. I hope Meredith realizes soon that she doesn't like Dev anymore and that the only issue is that Garth has a commitment phobia. I am interested about any ex-girlfriends...maybe Sam was one of them?

I guess the only thing that bothers me about this chapter is that they're going to start doing stuff but she's still not over Dev and I have a feeling that her feelings for Dev - when he comes around, which I'm sure will happen - are going to impose on her feelings for Garth and then something terrible is going to happen to their relationship.

Lucas embodies the definition of a hipster completely! I laughed when he said Sigur Ros wasn't up to par as the rest. Sigur Ros is amazing! And then talking about things very few people know about? Total douchebag, hipster move.
I really liked how Garth and Meredith interact. I know I've mentioned this before, but gosh they are making connections with each other! And I love romances like that. I hope they get together.

Ahh, from the moment Sam is introduced I was laughing the entire time! Such a wonderful addition. I love when Meredith's apologizing too and the argument that ensures. It seems like such a petty thing to get upset over, but it made me laugh and I understood why she felt the way she did. It was just funny and I'm really like their interactions so far.
