This fic is old but the South African comment is so tone deaf lol. That place was completely colonized and the black folk there were oppressed for years. So to have your white character boo-hooing about possibly being oppressed is so stupid. Like she would not be oppressed in South Africa. And the implication that black people/Africans are racist toward white people when that's not even the case. Yikes.

I haven't been back to fictionpress for several years and happened to stumble across this story tonight. I love the way you write! I know it's been a long time since you've updated this story, but it's so incredible, it deserves an ending.

Okay, I've just finished re-reading it and I'm still very much into this story. When will Olivia find out about Jillian? Will Jillian cause problems for their relationship? What else did she do to hurt Ben?
I have so many questions, but I have to be content witg what my imagination comes up with.
Great job writing this story. Your attention to detail is noteworthy. The tone has remained consistent all throughout. I'm still holding out hope you'd come bakc to this someday (even if i'd enjoy rereading this again and again as is) since your last update was 2014. It's just a few years so you might still come back to it right?

Here I've been going on about this being completed because there were so many chapters so not only do I feel like an idiot, but an idiot who is so incredibly hooked on this beautiful story and am BEGGING you to come back to it. I'll do anything. I'll be your stenographer while you dictate. I'll bake cookies. I'll name my next kid after you. PLEASE?!
