I absolutely love your story. I'd hope that if the captain did figure out Anne's identity he would not kill her - after all he had wished to marry her and she is the only heir of her father.
At least it doesn't appear as if she will be put to work actually manning the ship.

I'm curious as to how long the secret is going to be kept from Brent before he finds out. I mean...Jannell found out pretty fast, but then again, she is a girl.
