We definitely have some weird and hilarious things happen at the kone...unavoidable disaster, shrieking laughter, complete chaos...poor ignorant fools who come to join our odd party of weird special people...I advise never to join our crew, it's seems like no one ever leaves the place. We just keep coming back summer after summer after summer...
Anywho...I was cracking up that the boys were terrified of Henry, which was further enhanced by the fact that just after I read that my four-year old nephew shrieked like a girl because a spider was crawling across the floor... I never understood how manly men can be more terrified of spiders that little girly girls...it don't make no sense!
This was a superb chapter as always. Completely hilarious and what not...this could totally be a killer book...It's one of those stories that you could curl up with on the couch on a cold winters night. Speaking of winter...that would be hilarious to see Katie learn how to ski or snowboard or something...going down hill very fast on a thin piece of plastic whilst holding two metal poles, oh the trouble she could cause...and the damage to whatever is in her way (trees, buildings and people included!)
Wait! Just thought of something...Katie and the gang at the zoo (I just went to the zoo on Saturday for my nephews birthday...totally freakin awesome man!) I could totally picture them bringing along a pack of bologna so that when they went into the aquairium exhibits they could see if the peranas would try to eat eachother to get the meat... I thought about doing this myself but realized too late that we didn't have any bologna...dang it! That totally ruined my plan! (Okay, why is my nephew playing ring-around-the-rosey with the stuffed kangaroo I bought at the zoo? The child is weird...)
Okay back from tangent-land to continue my stylish vocalization of your ambiguous talent (that totally didn't make any sense but it was freakin awesome all the same!)
Sorry to have left the land of Krazy...but I really am back and I ain't leavin!
Great work...can't friggin wait for the next chapter! I just L-O-V-E this story and its insane cast!

(Hm re-reading this review I realize I've had too much pop today...darn work and the free pop! It also could be Sprinkle and Wendilicious rubbing off on me...never know...)

Wow...this has been an insane couple of chapters! Remind me never to go without being able to log on for two and a half weeks again!
Anywho...A-MAZ-ING! That was crazy sad what happened to Katie and Ryan is just a plain idiot...boy doesn't catch a thing! And despite all the gloom you managed to put some fantastic humor in there as well... Damien is definetely one of my favorite characters (although Katie takes the top every time.) I love how he always teases Ryan, he's so much like my friend Matt (who isn't gay but still hits on/teases any guy nearby.) It's killing me though that Ryan and Katie remain oblivious to their feeling for eachother! I just want to grab them both by the shirt and smack them silly!
I'm freaking rolling that Katie will be working at an ice cream store! I can just imagine her clutzy self holding an ice cream cone and falling straight on her bum...HAHAHA! Which reminds me of the other night at work... One of the girls I work with, Meghan, dumped a milk shake on the floor by 'accident', the thing was EVERYWHERE, well my friend Wendilicious (my brother gave her the nichname, don't ask...) cleaned it up for her with the usual wet towel and such. Meghan decided to run across the floor trying to get an order done quickly and slipped on the wet floor. You know, normally people know not to run when the floor is wet but I'm guessing her dyed blonde hair had something to do will her ill-made decision. She ended up skating across the floor, fell, and almost hit her head on the counter we keep our sprinkles on! It was so funny I almost peed myself, I double over laughing! It was even funnier that we had tons of people waiting in line to order and they could see the ENTIRE episode! We also have cameras in the place so she's on tape falling on her bum! I want a copy of the video so I can watch it over and over and over again...so funny...
Hm...speaking of tapes, I wonder if they still have the tape of my other boss dumping hot oil on himself? It was by 'accident' of course...or so he says... *wonders continuously*...O! Or the time my brother made a large shake (which is of course like a liter and a half of liquid), slipped on a strawberry slice that someone had dropped on the floor when making a sundae, and fell backwards...yep the shake landed right on his head...best moment of my LIFE! (And yes, I work with my brother...on occasion...when he also gets back from college...in a week and a half...) *tears of laughter* Working at Kurlee Kone has definetely been exciting, for lack of a better word.
Okay I'll stop reminiscing now...sorry I can't stop blabbering, guess I'm trying to make up for all those missed chapter reviews...
Great work, I really really really really really look forward to reading more!

P.S. I totally just thought about something for Thanksgiving...my dad is the one who always cooks turkey for the day, always bright and early in the morning. Well, when he cleans all the nasty intestines from inside the chest cavity he like to play with the bird. I cam downstairs one year to find his fist in places unmentionable, and he was running around the house gobbling like a turkey chasing our poor dogs... weirdest sight I've ever seen, sadly he informed me he does it EVERY year!

Yay! She's alive. I'm so happy, like you have no idea. lol
I still love this story. Even if I've read it, once you publish it I'm buying it and coming to a book signing. This is just good material. I like how everything's coming together.
It's good that you talk about how she's not over the death, but she's learning to deal with it. That's exactly what happens when someone you love dies. You never get over it, and the pain never goes away. You just wake up one day and realize that you can keep pushing on. (Yeah, I got that from Castle [Detective Becket]) lol.
Still love it. Ryan, still hot and my fav charry. Update soon :)

Oh my goodness, I can't believe what actually happened to Katie's family. This chapter as well as the last actually explains Katie and Ryan's behavior throughout the story.. I really liked it as well as the fact that Ryan is finally willing to take care of Katie now :D... thanks for updating and the story is seriously good :D xoxo

Do you REALLY need to see through Ryan's eyes? I can understand the frustration behind trying to write from two different points of view... :)

Going once... going twice...SOLD!
Dude, that was awesome! Yes, I loved it. Not because it was sad, but because it opens up that door and allows you to see things in a new light. You now understand Ryan a whole lot better. Loved this chapter. Fantastic job!
I really hope hope Katie's okay and that her and Ryan can piece things together.
Fav Character - Ryan. He's the strong silent type. He's misunderstood. But he's a deep thinker which allows him to love deeply too.
Thing to do - Wow, that would be pretty hard to decide. Why not have them go to a park and put dishwashing detergent in the fountains. It makes so many bubbles! And then have a water wars.
Update soon :)
