The stream of consciousness coming from Tehya is fascinating and very apt. So many pros and cons to be thought of and weighed up. I think she is being a bit harsh about Kayden's reaction but then, it is as it should be. She is very young and poor Kayden was just trying to process this overwhelming fact he'd only just heard. You write wonderfully!

I thought having a chapter from Kayden's point of view was an excellent idea. I loved having a window into his thoughts and emotions too. I thought it most endearing that he has had feelings for Tehya for a long time, only the thought of her being the sister of his best friend holding him back. This story just gets better and better!

Well if this excellent piece of writing is the example of what comes to you after a writer's block then well, you should have more of them! This was wonderful, erudite and articulate and showcasing Tehya's feelings so well. Every person should be so lucky to have a friend the calibre of Jackson - that boy is God's gift. I loved this, the highs and lows, it sits perfectly and paints and unrolls the dramas to my mind.

What a well described moment of revelation that was for Tehya. Unlike a lot of stories you didn't have her jump to the pregnancy conclusion the minute after her involvement with Kayden. I liked your social gathering around the table, with it's banter and awkwardness. You write this story so well, I am sure you are tired of me saying it but I love this story.

That was terrific! I could really feel all that repressed feeling swirling around in the kitchen between Noah and Tehya and Kayden. You handle dialogue really well. And as for Jackson, gosh what a sweetheart. Everyone deserves a friend as comforting and understanding as he is. Loved it.

That was so well described. I loved that long slow slide into intimacy, you had me riveted with the desire swirling between them. Not only that but you painted such a clear picture without resorting to any vulgarity or crassness, well done!

I have to say that even though I just found this story I would have to say that it is one of my favorites. I really hope that you come back to finish it. You can feel Tehya's strife but at the same time how can Kayden be so mad? He has been ignoring her like the plague since they slept together, how can she not feel like she has to be the one to make the decision.
