Do you speak French fluently? I've only taken classes at school for the last few years, so I couldn't understand parts of the poem. However, I still enjoyed it :D

Wow - this was amazing! Writing it in French has made it sound so much more elegant and beautiful!
Now, I'm sure my French English is pretty crap, but I thought this read well, my favourite line was:
"My dreams keep me drinking in the wild fresh water of the river," (hope I got that translation okay! =]) It was a very lyrical line, very pretty!
All up, I think it was a great poem, with a nice deep meaning, equally balanced with beautiful French! Great work!
