I must say as tired and fed up as I am with all the weak shit vampire stories out there this tale is fantastic! Very well thought out and executed. Thank you very much for the lovely journey.

Great sex scenes. Also great chemistry. The sex scenes were sizzling!
The plot, too, was nicely developed - but I did have a problem with the delayed "happy ending." While I found Maggie's drug addiction to be realistic & believable enough - it made her less likeable. I mean, why can't she have fought it? Succeeded? Survived on her own terms?
I guess my biggest problem is with Maggie. It's believable that at 18, the innocence (an echo of her innocent 10-year-old self) she had first attracted Finn. But unrecognisable at 23, what does she have going for her? The blood bond? An acceptable answer, but not romantic.
You had excellent chemistry. But the romance was less romantic, and this was Maggie's fault. She's only human, and that's her problem - she has nothing going for her except her supposed beauty and her having charmed Finn at age 10. Strength of character? Her whole "I'm going to be smart & successful" shtick? All gone. The drug abuse was believable. But it made her less likeable in the context of this particular story. All the pain she went through - sure, she is to be pitied. But admired? Empathised with? Nah.
I enjoyed the story nonetheless, but I feel like this is a pretty severe flaw. Any other issues are minor - this is a great read, fast-paced and exciting and intriguing. I hope that my suggestions are helpful rather than insulting.
