So, I don't know why I hadn't read this book sooner. This was a fantastic journey. I mean the characters were so real, like there were times I felt really protective of Keri. I loved this book. Reading exactly 9 years later that the author published this master piece, I wish I could have read it in 2009 but I was 9 year old kid who knew nothing about even novels let alone internet. Somewhere I childishly wish that Ethan and Keri are somewhere in California living their happy lives.

This story was amazing, the emotion, the drama, the characters, the descriptions- everything was so well done that, together all those factors made for a magnificent read. Keri as a main character could not have been more real than what you made her, she was so flawed but that's what made her Keri. Ethan (the most un-Italian first name I have ever heard by the way :P) was just, oh man, he was that good! I have to say, I don't really like reading stories where the main female is older than the leading man but Ethan was so mature that the age gap didn't really come through until Keri mentioned it. great job!

Once again a great story. I would absolutely love to be able to take a road trip across the United States. Also, sorry to hear about your experience and loss, I'm not really sure I could handle that. I love the fact that Ethan is younger then Keri, you definitley do not see that very often. My favorite part of this book is the very end. I love how he proposed but I still think she should get a ring :) Diamonds are a girls best friend ya know. So I propose you right a sequel so we can at least see if she said yes ;) plus I love the complete happily ever after but in the sequel you should focus it around Nate or Gert! I love that lil old lady! But definitley have a lot of Keri and Ethan with babies and what not :)

I am glad to know that I'm not the only person who can shake their eyes! Haha, Keri isn't the only one who still acts 13 sometimes ... I don't even know what's so freaky about it since I can't see myself doing it (obviously).
I like the grandma ... she's spunky. :)

This could be potentially my favourite out of your stories; maybe that's because Ethan sounds so sweet or because Keri is a very likable character.
Generally, I'm into the cliche that the boy should always be older; this is probably the only story that I enjoy where the boy is younger!

I had fun reading your story. It's not the type of story where the characters fall in love all of a sudden out of nowhere. It happened gradually and I guess that's what made the story more realistic. I couldn't help but ignore some of the sayings in this story that I can relate to. I guess that's what makes you a good writer- relating the story somehow to its readers. You're story was simple,no complicated plots, no third parties and I guess that's what made it good. Simplicity at its best. :)
