I love the 'house' imagery that you introduce in the third stanza. Your use of alliteration, 'empty shutters and shallow sounds,' was a perfect way of describing it-adding such a lonely and nostalgic tone to the piece.

When I first read the title for this in my e-mail author alert, I thought it would have something to do with rock stars. haha. How wrong was I?
You show so much nostalgia throughout this piece, you even compair that time to a motion picture which I think is perfectly placed. We see out childhoods as such a raw magical time, I think most people cannot help but romantisize that time.
The imagry of the women gardening was also lovely, from your mother driving, to the picture of her in her white dress.
This piece is different from your other works of late; sader maybe? It has a narration to it that I haven't seen from you yet. I enjoyed it, keep up the good work.
