Aww. That's really, really sad. I can't imagine what that would even be like...it's just really horrible. But at least the baby will be able to grow up knowing that his dad died a hero.

This is really good. I love the characterization in this story, but what particularly compels me is the end. I feel like there could be so much more divulged in this story. Particularly the growing relationship between her and her best friend as he helps to bring her from her grief. I'd love to see more! But that's just my cliched side talking, heh. (I love my cliched side very much.)

Man, that was incredibly intense. And I love the storyline. Such a great story wrapped in such a tiny package, but not lacking in the least! Perfect. :D

Your expression and decriptions are so detailed and moving and the whole situation is both heartbreaking and beautiful. Its short, but its impact is amazing I can't believe you haven't got more reviews. I loved this.
