I love how quirky/funny your characters are! It's like they're real people that you can relate too. [Big fan of your one shots-makes your heart cry, but don't have to wait for them updates(; ]

:)
One-shots tend to be overly cheesy and dramatic, but I think this whole one-shot deal worked for you. It definitely was the kind that made me go "Aw" (but in my head because I'm a closet romantic) and left me with a stupid grin on my face (it's still there).
I liked that there weren't names. It makes it more... relatable, I guess. It's almost more personal in that these two people could be anyone. I also like that this one-shot was all in dialogue. That takes skill! I'm jealous of your conversational skills. If only I had your ability to make it all sound sweet without being sappy, funny without being forced... haha. How do you do it?
Anyway, enough of my rambling. Great work. (:

that was so ideal. I believe in happy endings too but by like believing this could ever happen to anyone, ever happen to me... seems to be pushing it a little LOL. I've grown up a bit and I suppose I won't meet my guy in high school. -sigh-
Btw I think it's amazing how you managed to keep it all dialogue yet give the characters distinct personalities, put them in distinct places and give this a distinct storyline! Well done!

This is absoutely breath taking! Its so adorable and sweet and romantic and aw. Just the thing one wants to read this time of year too!
I Do have one question though. Where is it set? Your profile page says you're Australian, so my first thought when I started reading this was it was set in Australia. But we don't have proms here, Formals yes, Proms not so much. Then for the rest of the piece I thought it was set in America, but then the ending says they where flying half way around the world to New York... so I'm a touch confused. It's obviously nothing major, I was just wondering is all, I mean I know you can use the Prom to mean the same thing (which they practically are) and it makes it easier with a mainly American readership on this site, but yeah I was just wondering and now I'm rambelling. Sorry!
It was amazingly written. Aww I just loved it! No wonder you come so highly recommended.

Aw that was truly adorable! It's nice to read this cheesy stuff sometimes, since I absolutely love it. Shh, it's a guilty pleasure of mine ;) The dialogue is fantastic btw. Love/hate couples are always the best. These two sound just like one of my favorite TV couples, only they never got together. Yeah, just my luck :p
