One shots tend to have conclusions, like a short story they are complete if not he typical climax and end but they are still complete. This is a first chapter put up to see the buzz. That aside well written for sure, and created good anticipation. Nice detail without being overwhelming

Woa-woah-what? Oneshot? This feels like you just up and cut off a chunk of the story, and just when the action set in! To leave it hanging like this would be cruel.
