I didn't read the first one because I wasn't sure about the Enigma's way of speaking so I jumped to this one just to check it out but I ended up reading all of it. I really liked it, obviously, not only because of the story - because it was pretty amazing - but also because of the relationship between the Enigma and Taylor. They're very sadistic with each other, but it fits with them and I really liked how they expressed their feelings for one another.

Sorry, pressed the wrong button and sent my first review without finishing it.
Bottom line is that I totally would have understood that Taylor would stay with the Enigma and wouldn't turn him in, would observe him robbing banks and would shoot someone if they threatened her man. But
At the end where she Plants a bomb under a building and enables the Enigma (basically encourages him) to blow up a bunch of people seems very unbelievable to me. I didn't particularly like Taylor in this story because she wasn't ANYTHING like her character in the first story. She could have been a completely different person.
But that's just my opinion. It was still very well written and I enjoyed reading it.

I won't lie the Enigma was so much more...intense in this story. It was definitely darker but I appreciate that he was probably pretty messed up throughout.
I do, however, fail to see the reasons behind Taylors transformation. I mean, she was a good person with morals down to her core in Fatal Attraction and despite her falling in love with a psychopath (which I have no issue accepting as they ARE fascinating) I don't think that it keeps with her character for her to waltz around in a sexy outfit and handing her boyfriend the controls to a bomb that will kill dozens of peo

I really LOVED this story. So often I read romance where the heroine is clearly outclassed by the hero and it annoys me, but in this story I felt like the Answer and the Enigma were perfectly matched in every way by the end. It is rare that I feel that the hero and heroine truly strengthen and feed off of each other. Taylor begins as the Enigma's weakness and ends as his strength. I even enjoyed her going "insane." The best part was that I don't think Enigma forced her to change. Instead, being with Enigma allowed Taylor to be herself and together they can be fully open to one another. That is romance at its best. Their relationship began flawed and ends perfectly even though they themselves are screwed up.

I was trying to figure this out by looking at ur other story summaries but couldn't..Why is it that fatal attraction ended w them safely together but this one mentions a run in a the shadow n Taylor is so different? Where was the middle part?

Wow, well that was mind-blowing. :')
I love the way The Enigma speaks. I find it strangely compelling yet frightening. And I'm not gonna lie, this is messed up but in the perfect way. I love that Jace doesn't change and become some sappy villain-turned-hero-for-his-one-true-love; his characterisation was great.

Oh my god, oh my god, i loved this story, i loved the characters especially the Enigma, i love the way he loves taylor but hates her at the same time, i started reading this story yesterday and i read fatal attraction the day before but i just could not stop reading and i got frustrated every time someone called my name and i had to leave the laptop because i didnt want anyone to see that i wasnt doing my coursework when i told them i was. i loved the darkness within taylor and the fact that she would do anything for her man, i loved the enigmas possessive streak. i just loved everything about the story, im not sure if there were any spelling mistakes because the story was so interesting that i wasnt looking for it thats how good it was. i hope theres another story about these two but its highly unlikely because this story was finished in 2009 and it is now 2012 but i can just hope there will be
