I was thinking who the hell Brooke was.. i haven't placed her yet. But after reading the whole chapter she makes sense.
Yeah this is a nice chapter. A lot happens.. so its nice and fast.
And Alex is, once again, awesome.
I wish i could see more of Des though. She seems like a great character!

What's a "bunny boiler" situation? That phrase is seriously intriguing.
Aah, I love that Alex got a haircut (mostly because I don't like long hair on guys and I hated imagining him like that). But I think it's weird that he's looking like his old 15-year-old self. That suggests that he's trying to go back to when he knew(?) Grace liked him to help her fall in love with him now. Except she's already in love with him. If he just grew up (instead of aging backwards like he seemed to have done in this chapter), she wouldn't stand a chance. The grove scene proved that.
I wonder...will Bridunna ever change its mind about Alex? I hate that they dislike him so much when I love him. And because it seems like such injustice to me! Every time I read about how they assume that he did such and such or how is this way or that way...I get so mad! :)

Hahahaha, your note about what Thongs are in Aus cracked me up. In NZ they're jandals, but at least people don't get them mixed up with underwear haha.
Alex gets more and more awesome, and I haven't gotten confused with people just yet. And it seems like you're reaffirming a bit each chapter so all good. Because I 'had' gotten a bit hazy about Maxxie- until you reminded me that she was someone else's kid that Grace's mum was retrying the clone business on.
I liked the hints that Grace isn't as completely over her 'crush' from before as she thought she was.
=] The update brightened me day. haha

i love this story., its really really cute! and i love Alex. and i have loved him since SMTL.., i always wondered what happened to him.
i was kind of hoping for a Jack/Tally sequel., when he got back from England or maybe one time when Tally went and saw him lol

Yay! he's back! Yay! :D
I loved the flashback scene of how they met. It was sweet and I'm thinking poor Grace has a knack for boyfriends who rent really her type. That Dirk guy was controlling AND annoying. And Oliver here is perfect but he's not Alex.
In some ways Grace still seems like a kid. Like her glee at escaping her mother's eye and sneaking off. But I like it, it makes her all the more fun. I somehow cant bring myself to feel sorry for the teen. She irks me and rubs me the wrong way.
Once more. Yay!He's back. I am so glad he's back cause I know that whatever drama happens, at least he'll kind of have her back even if he's struggling with Bridunna and it's many issues. lol. You've got me totally invested in them as a couple. Great chapter. I'm fully looking forward to reading more.
And one last time, yay! :D

This new story is great! I love the whole rebellious feel of it and I can't wait to read more.
To be honest, Maxxie reminds me a bit of what I was like a couple of years ago. Except I was a bit less extreme. Still, I actually like her quite a lot. Will we be learning more about her in future chapters? :)
